So, you ask your coach, business partner, or mentor a question “what’s The best way to get started”? That to me would be a very up-front question with many answers. I’m not going to answer this question because it’s just to illustrate my madness. I bring this topic up because I caught myself many times training new employees from my perspective and my understand of a subject.
If you ever been on the receiving end of new training at work or in your business then you understand that “puzzled look” that individuals get when a teacher or speaker pauses! Yea you know, your eyes are glazed over and everyone looks like the next episode of The Walking Dead. The point is before you ask a question use the resources you have to get your answer. I know I got off topics somewhat, the responsibility of any teacher is what? To teach, so the student learns the material not to hear you blab about how much you know. I can talk all day long about creating your own list because that’s where the money is. Now if I said your list is a list of businesses, clients, and contacts and a good example: Your local grocery store might have an advantage shoppers card where you get fuel perks and discount’s on future sales, right? Now the customers behind each card would be the grocery’s list.
Whether you’re seasoned or a new business owner Learn to Teach and Teach to Learn but research your question yourself until you dream about it (seriously). Then and only then will you start to get that passion deep inside of feeling accomplished. You’ll see you won’t sleep for the next couple of days.
